Belthangadi August 11: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala near Mangalore in Karnataka will be guiding as President of Vishva Hindu Parishat (VHP) Golden Jubilee Celebration’s International Committee.

VHP which was founded on Sri Krishna Janmashtami Day in 1964, is completing its 50th year on August 17th, 2014 on the eve of Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
Various programs on the occasion of golden jubilee will be organised throughout the country as part on year celebration. International secretary of VHP Champat Roy visited Dharmasthala and discussed the details with Dr Heggade who will preside over the committee and guide the programs. On this occasion Dr. Heggade accepted the invitation extended by VHP.
The world committee has Ashok Rao Chougule (Goa) as working President and KPS Gill (Punjab), Dr Madhavan Nair (Kerala), Poornima Advani(Mumbai), Ramkui Jimi Lodi Basti (Assam) will be guiding as Vice Presidents. Om Prakash Singhal (New Delhi) will be the treasurer and Champat Roy(New Delhi) will work as Secretary along with co-secretaries, Dr. Surendra Jain (Rohtak), Vinayak Rao (Jaipur), Raghvulu (Hyderabad), Dr Basnt Rath (Kolkata).
