Mumbai Aug 17, 2104: Vishwa Hindu Parishad, which turned 50 today, declared its year long plan for the celebration of Golden Jubilee. VHP was founded in 1964 Krishnashtami Day at Sandipani Ashram in Mumbai.
In the inaugural ceremony held at Sandipani Ashram at Mumbai, RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat, VHP Chief Dr Pravin Togadia, Pejwar Seer Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji, Dr Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala and several others attended the meet.
